Scouring Enzyme EW

Scouring Enzyme EW is a high-tech product that combines a new type of EW multi-component compound enzyme technology with chemicals. It is mainly used in the one-bath desizing-scouring-bleaching pre-treatment process for cotton yarns and cotton knitted fabrics. It can effectively remove sizing agents, pectin, natural salts, pigments, waxes, and other impurities from cotton fabrics, open up the internal channels of natural fibers, and cause minimal damage to cellulose—thus ensuring that the characteristics and advantages of natural fibers (such as luster, strength, bulkiness, etc.) are not severely impaired. The excellent buffer system of Scouring Enzyme EW also ensures the consistency of substrates after scouring, creating optimal conditions for subsequent dyeing and finishing processes.

Product Characteristics

  1. Scouring Enzyme EW replaces caustic soda, stabilizers, and penetrating scouring agents in traditional processes, significantly simplifying the pre-treatment process.
  2. The scouring weight loss rate after treatment decreases by more than 5%.
  3. The treated yarns and fabrics have good capillary effect and high whiteness (capillary effect generally reaches 9-17 cm/30 min), thereby improving dyeing quality and saving dyes.
  4. Suitable for one-bath processes of scouring-dyeing or scouring-bleaching-whitening.
  5. Saves water, electricity, steam, and labor costs.

Application Processes

  1. Cotton Yarns

Scouring Enzyme EW is used in the one-bath desizing-scouring-bleaching pre-treatment for dyeing cotton/linen cheese yarns and hank yarns. It can effectively improve issues commonly caused by traditional processes, such as yarn weight loss, color difference between inner and outer layers of yarn packages, and yellow spots or color differences at the joints of hank yarns due to insufficient scouring. On the premise of keeping fiber strength undamaged, it can effectively reduce the scouring weight loss rate, giving the yarns a fluffy and soft handfeel as well as a uniform capillary effect.

Chelating Dispersant JN102 0.5-2 g/L

H₂O₂ (30%) 4.0-6.0 g/L

Bath Ratio 1:10-15

Temperature 95-100℃

Time 45-60 min

  1. Scouring-Bleaching of Cotton Knitted Fabrics

Scouring Enzyme EW can effectively improve problems that easily occur during conventional scouring of knitted fabrics, such as fiber weight loss, uneven dyeing, batch-to-batch color difference, streaks, and wrinkles. It gives the fabrics a fluffy and soft handfeel, uniform wettability, and comprehensively improves product quality.

Chelating Dispersant JN102 0.5-2 g/L

H₂O₂ (30%) 4.0-8.0 g/L

Bath Ratio 1:10

Temperature 95-100℃

Note: The above process parameters can be appropriately adjusted according to different fabric types and requirements.

 

  1. High-Count, High-Density Fabrics

Scouring Enzyme EW can effectively improve issues caused by incomplete desizing, insufficient scouring, and uneven capillary effect—such as rough handfeel, uneven dyeing, and easy wrinkling. It eliminates color differences between the edge and middle of fabrics, ensures uniform and thorough dyeing, and endows the fabrics with plump and smooth wearing properties.

Storage, Transportation, and Packaging
