Recommended Formulation

• Dosage: BPF 0.5 - 2.0% (o.w.f)
• Time: 30 - 60 minutes
• Temperature: 55 - 60°C
• pH: 4.0 - 5.5 (controlled with 0.5% acetic acid)

Methods for Inactivating the Enzyme

• A: Raise the pH to 9.0 and maintain for 30 minutes at a temperature greater than 70°C.
• B: Raise the temperature to above 80°C and maintain for 15 minutes.
